Our many thanks to all who joined us for our annual Big Game Banquet last August. We had a great BGB and the proceeds will go far in the RMEF's Mission to "Enhance and Preserve" Elk Habitat.

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit International Organization. "Since 1984, we have protected and enhanced more than 4.8 million acres of wildlife habitat all across elk country and funded more than 5,200 stewardship, conservation education and hunting heritage projects in 49 states and eight Canadian provinces. Along the way, we have helped open nearly half a million acres for public access and hunting." Worldwide the membership stands over 132,000 members in the United States and 26 countries.

The Arizona Region of the RMEF currently has almost 10,000 members state-wide. Since 1984 RMEF has completed 328 projects in Arizona providing over $3 million dollars of event revenue to help fund these projects. The total value of RMEF and its partner’s efforts total over $14.5 million dollars spent on project work down on the ground in Arizona. The number of acres that we have affected by RMEF activity is 282,515. In partnership with Arizona Game and Fish, RMEF has generated well over $ 2.3 million in special tag funds.
